It's been a long time in the making; the idea conceived in Grenada, the remaining parts bought in Panama and today, ladies and gentlemen, we present to you the Great Pegasus Potato Canon!! And what better place to test it, than in the middle of the ocean. I mean, it's not like we're the first to think of the idea of testing their mighty weapons in the Pacific. And we have definitely inflicted less damage, have rehomed no poor indigenous persons and destroyed no coral reef or island. But boy, have we had fun! And then there was the party. Everyone made such an effort with their presents. Whit wrote Lochy a 'choose your own destiny' personalised pirate book, I made Mia a handbag, Mark drew an amazing picture of the kids for me (inner artist shining through - is there no end to this man's talents?!) Mia made Whit a keyring, and Lochy painted Mark a picture. Then there were cakes. Whit and Lochy nearly had to sit on the naughty step as when I woke up this morning, there were two less cakes in the tin - Whit put all the blame on Lochy and vice versa, but I did point out to Whit that at 28, he should have known better than to agree to cakes at 6am just because Lochy smiled at him. Bad boys. However, they did once again redeem themselves by baking bread. Who'd have thought we'd have had such fun on this trip! Though, I'm not sure what we are going to do for dinner tonight - potatoes had been on the menu. Current posn: 06.58S 117.09W
