Ready for Splashdown

Well, here we are in the sling waiting for splashdown. As usual, it was a lot of work and a long list of tasks accomplished. Mike refinished the cabin sole with hand rubbed Epifanes. He replaced all the night lights throughout the boat with red LEDs. This was not actually easy since every hole had to be enlarged for the new lights. Our friends were very impressed with the "submarine" lighting!
We had the locker under one of the aft berths divided so it is easier to organize and store items. Of course, the usual polishing, cleaning and the dreaded job ... painting the bottom. I hope the extra money spent on the Micron 66 will be worth it. We're also waiting to see if the paint we sprayed on the prop will indeed perform as advertized (really, no barnacles??)
