Mike is from Dayton, Ohio and Jane is from Swansea, Massachusetts. We married in 1973 and bought our first boat, a 18'sailboat, in 1974. Five years later we purchased a 1929 Alden Crocker yawl followed by a 33 foot Knutson Pilot which we sailed for 9 years. [...]A Newport 41 was our next boat and again we kept it for 9 years. Then our "retirement boat", a Bristol 45.5, was purchased in 2005. So we thought it was about time to start blogging!
