Georgetown Bahamas
31 January 2014 | Sand Dollar Beach
Sunnny, 80, breezy, finally some heat
We arrived in Georgetown on Wed Jan 29th. We had a nice cruise, a little swell on the ocean, 2 - 3 feet but overall, a flat sea. Georgetown has everything a cruiser could want, secluded beaches, reefs for snorkeling, restaurants, grocery, fuel, boat parts and of course, all at a price but hey... The weather here is gorgeous, sleeping in under nice starry skies with a good breeze. We are anchored in a cove called sand dollar beach, having a great adventure. We will likely stay here till mid March then head up the island chain taking our time with the goal of Florida sometime in mid April. But, that can all change... with time.
