We left this morning hoping to beat the forecasted winds, but faced N30 knot winds on the nose. Ouch! So we turned back into Kano Inlet for a day at Carew Bay where we would be protected mostly in the lee of an island. Although with a moderate chop at times, we survived the gale outside. Checking the crab pot and shrimp ring in the morning, we were skunked. But fishing brought us a 25" Pacific Halibut!! My first one. It made dinner extra special!
