Motoring to Booker Lagoon in calm conditions, we finally all took showers. Running the engine always makes hot potable water usable for such demands. As we pulled into the entrance of Booker Lagoon, we came to a screeching halt when we saw white water tidal rapids ahead. We were early. We turned around, and anchored for a few hours for the tidal surge to slow down. After a competitive game of Scrabble, we weighed anchor, and headed through the entrance in a much better condition. Inside we put the shrimp pot and crab pots down, but were disappointed not to catch anything but three small shrimp. Inside Booker Lagoon we saw two white-sided dolphins, a couple harbor seals, a loon, the resident bald eagles, and he other usual suspects.
