Day 60 Bangor Northern Ireland
17 July 2017 | Bangor
Back to work! After six weeks very enjoyable weeks in Scotland I am sad to leave. It is the longest time I have been here since 1983 when I left to find fame and fortune in London. I didn't find fame, but found fortune in my wonderful family and friends. However we must continue , and today we left Troon at 7am, and found a horrible lumpy sea, with a wind straight on the "nose". We motored through this , the sun came out, and it has turned out to be a lovely day. Arriving at Bangor about 6.30, we were able to sit out in the cockpit and have a drink, - things are getting better!
Tomorrow Ardglass, the picture shows Alisa Craig disappearing, as we enter the North Channel of the Irish Sea.
