Today I officially became a boat owner for the first time. It's been a childhood dream and I made it happen. My younger brother Brian came along with me for the 2 hour trip to St. Michaels, MD. First we stopped by my future marina in Edgewater, MD to check it out. The first photo is of my slip against the bulkhead and the other is of the rest:
It's not a big marina, it's family owned and in their back yard. They don't have all the amenities of a larger marina, but for the cost, they have what I need and are in a good location off Cadle Creek and the Rhode River.
We then made our way to St. Michael's, it was very nice out and Brian took a snapshot of the bay as we crossed the bridge.
We made it to the museum and I handed over a check for my new boat. Brian and I then spent the rest of the day scrubbing down the interior. I didn't get any pictures of the boat during the day, but snapped some as we were packing up to head home.
