Nautical Norfolk

We spent a couple of nights in Norfolk, marking the end of our trip up the ICW. There are 2 nice marinas there and we decided to stay at Waterside, since it was at TownPoint and we thought we needed a few things at the grocery store. We seem to go more often, but then again we are eating more fresh foods and less canned, just because of the availability. Plus the walks are good exercise after being on the boat a few days. Here however we took FRED (free ride every day), an electric, 6-seater car, driven by one of their city's ambassadors.
While there we visited Nautilus, a museum focis using on our naval history. Part of the museum, was the USS Wisconsin, an Iowa class battleship. The admission was well worth it. We got there after lunch and stayed until closing. Which was good because we were exhausted.
