Getting ready for a cruise.

Wow lots has happened since fall of 2013. First need to be sure this Sail blog actually still works.

Well things did not go as planned last season. After doing a rigging survey found swedged broken, a water tank leak etc etc etc. In short we spent another 10 grand and never left Mexico. After our 2 shake down cruises and following repairs we had to go back to South Dakota for the summer to operate our Resort and get Judy's oldest son married off.

New plan is to finish the interior make over in August. Oh ya forgot to tell everyone that the interior is now completely TEAK,, Another $$$ you don't want to know.. Looks great... Then end of Oct get her out of dry dock and head to Barra to meet up with Steve and Zandra for our jump to the Galapagos Islands and Ecuador. Thinking Galapagos for Christmas.

All plans are written in the sand at low tide. TTFN

Oh No, Just looked up the date for the Superbowl... Feb 3 2013. May have to delay date for leaving port.

Bottom Pant is finished. New Motor and Trans are up and running. Interior is almost finished. Getting ready to Splash.

Our plans are to drive down to PV, Nov 1st. Work on the Island Mistress, hopefully getting her completed and in the water. Drive home for Christmas at our new Lodge with the kids. Then Fly down to PV with Judy the First of January to play on the boat, Leaving January 26th on the full moon for the South Pacific. Plan to leave the boat in Tahiti mid April for a flight home to work for the summer. Then each winter there after keep working the way west until we reach New Zealand or Australia.
