Whirlpool

Believe it or not, the middle of this bunch of ice is a whirlpool that whirls in the summer. This channel is one part of the Mohawk River which flows down either side of Peebles Island. I found that using the auto focus Canon lens for landscape photos can result in the lens focusing on something other than what I would manually focus on. There is technique to select the autofocus position and I have to learn it.
