starting to move aboard

La date de notre départ approche rapidement. Donc nous avons commencé à aménager notre voilier avec nos affaires personnelles. La première priorité a été notre cuisine; les chaudrons, la vaiselle, ustensiles de cuisine,... et beaucoup de sacs ziplocs. La deuxième priorité fut la salle de bain, j'ai une grande quantité de crème solaire :-) elle ne manque que notre trousse de premier soins et de papier de toilettes. Mon plan pour demain est de commencer à apporter des provisions alimentaires, de mettre les coussins du sofa à babord, et de nettoyer les deux chambres.

The goal is to bring some supplies and our stuff aboard everyday so that I (Nancy) can put them away bit by bit without being overwhelm.

Nous plannifions de vivre sur notre voilier à partir de dimanche (oui dans 4 jours!).

Good news! Allan has successfully tested the radio, the radar, the chart plotter, AIS and the various instruments (wind speed, boat speed, wind direction...). He has been working very hard.

In late summer of 2009, Nancy and I had the opportunity to visit Newfoundland on the Atlantic east coast quickly followed by a marathon drive around Vancouver Island on the Pacific west coast of Canada.
