One Month and Two Quick Hops

During our time in Stuart, we participated in the Christmas Day Potluck Dinner on the outdoor patio and the New Years Eve celebration at the marina, and enjoyed multiple rainbows and stunning sunsets. We got together with Gene and Ginny of m/v Free to B, and Dave and Tricia of m/v Sovereignty several times. Thank you, Ginny, for sewing our cockpit sunshades for us, and thanks for the ice cubes! We gave to and received from the "free-cycle" shelf multiple times. Additionally, Kevin replaced the engine distributor cap and rotor, alternator belt, heat exchanger zinc, gasket on the engine access hatch, and bilge blower hose, plus rebuilt the exhaust riser.
Grace is now well stocked up with provisions and supplies.
Shortly after 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 8th we departed from the mooring and about an hour later we dropped the hook for our first time in Hoggs Cove on the St Lucie River. Yesterday about 11:30 AM we hauled anchor and headed south on the ICW for a few miles before anchoring in Peck Lake at about 1:00 PM, followed by a walk on the nearby beach, where Kevin found two sea beans.
