yard. Sailing seasons of 2007 and 2008 ~ we used "SomedayCame" like a second home ~ 26 weekends and 25 weekends respectively ~ sailing on beautiful Lake Champlain. Debbie enthusiastically admits she is addicted; Kevin says he is not addicted. Sailing season of 2008 ~ we looked at "Grace" numerous times as she sat at the dock with a for sale sign, and eventually purchased her after much research and deliberation, after she was hauled out of the water and on her winter cradle. Sailing season of 2009 ~ we simultaneously learned the things that were new to us aboard "Grace", sailed her as much as we could around Kevin's work on various boat projects including overhauling the engine (while learning as he went, with much guidance from folks online and at the marina), downsized our tangible belongings, prepared our house to be put on the market, and listing the house "for sale by owner". We plan to be "snow birds" for the next few years, traveling south along the eastern US coast each fall, and north each spring, returning to Lake Champlain for the next few sailing seasons. We are taking the adventure as it comes ~ warm in the winter ~ if we get to some place and want to hang out for a while, we will ~ if we want to keep traveling, we will.
