We are finishing up the yard work today, doing some shopping and then in the water tomorrow. Also have the local fuel distributor bringing fuel to the boat before we launch.

We will lay at the dock a day or two to give the planks a chance to swell before starting for the Chesapeake. The boat has been on the hard for a month and we did a lot of work on the bottom along the keel to stop some persistant leaks. The local guru that did the work wants it to sit for a couple of days to "adjust".

Just a note: All the while we have been here we joked that the "bilge pump" has not run since we arrived. Low and behold, a freshwater hose let loose last night and emptied the water tank into the bilge.
