We arrived on board Kerenne in the boatyard via a flight to Corfu, ferry bus ride to get to Preveza. We were lucky to escape the chaos caused by the volcano in Iceland having flown out on the Monday before the airspace closed down.

Having been launched a few days later we had a few repairs to make before starting our journey south through the Ionian. Have spent some time in several places we like in the Ionian before coming south - even went up to the waterfalls at Nidri again and there was water flowing over the falls .

In Zakynthos harbour we tied up to the quay for 2 nights and had a very relaxing 2 days just enjoying the atmosphere of the town and a meal out at a local restaurant. This photograph shows Kerenne moored to the quay in Zakynthos with the town waterfront in the background


We are now in a harbour called Katakolon on the mainland of Greece and close to Olympia. There is a train from here to Olympia so if the weather permits we plan to stay here a couple of days to go there. Will add a photo when John has downloaded some off the camera.
