Gromit is a 47' Olympic Adventure Bluewater Ketch/Cutter that has just completed a 7 year circumnavigation by finishing its last leg from South Africa to the USA. Gromit is a solid full keeled vessel, it's designer Ted Brewer created the Olympic Adventure by stretching the Whitby 42 and adding an extra 5', a single cabin, a larger rudder and the Brewer Bite. The boat has a head and berth clearance of 6'6" throughout. All of Gromit's systems have been upgraded and are maintained in full working order. The current owner/renovator/circumnavigator is a mechanical aerospace engineer with over 20 years of hands on technical experience who has continuously refit the boat bow to stern. His attention to detail, mechanical strength, practicality, maintainability and reliability make's this vessel a turnkey operation that's ready for its next offshore adventure. In addition the boat has many key spares.
