Where are we now?

Cornelia. +3 degrees, windy, cloudy, damp
We are getting back on track after a week of colds and flu. It is time for the nice weather to begin!
On Michael's list:
*He is currently looking into various options for our battery bank.
*Studying for his SSB exam has been very stressful.
*He is meeting with a wiring expert to see if all looks well with his schematic.
*Refrigeration sketches have been sent to the refrigerator guy.
*The windlass is in Peterborough, being overhauled.
*The engine is in Cambridge, hopefully being reassembled.
*The steering system is being looked into, in Bolton, for modification to accomodate the autopilot.
*The pedestal dining table in the salon is being reworked in Brampton, to become a fold-up table to give the kids one good-sized play area.
I'm sure there are more things on Michael's list that are currently being worked on, but I can't think of anymore.
On Cornelia's list:
*Boat registration is 98% complete. Researching lettering at present.
*Canadian passports are in progress.
*My German passport should be arriving any day.
*Kids' longform birth certificate should be arriving soon.
*Contacted the Ministry of Transportation to see about renewing my driver's lic., as it will expire 215 days after we have left. It is possible to renew a dr. lic. within 180 days of its expiry, making mine 35 days too early. I've requested special permission to renew early, but haven't heard back.
*Offshore medical course is scheduled for mid-June.
*Gathering materials for schooling on board remains a major focus. I've been collecting lots and now need to thin out. I simply won't have room for all the books and units I want to take. This is going to be very tough. One of my high points right now is knowing that I will be in charge of my childrens' education. I'm thrilled about this. It is, however, a daunting task, trying to figure out what and how much to take.
There are other things on my list that I'm not remembering at present - I think it is called overload! A day or two of underload would sure be nice!
