Family Cruising Adventures on the Pacific West Coast
Back to Tres Marietas!
12/24/2015, 20 41.8'N:105 34.9'W, Tres Marietas

Hard to play here now as you need passes and a specific permission for the date the islands are being visited. In any event beautiful weather and sun, and sparkling clear water!

Back Cruising!
07/04/2015, Chacala Cruise

After a two-year refit of KEWA we were finally able to enjoy a great week of low-key sailing in and around Banderas Bay -- Punta de Mita, Tres Marietas and Cachala. Smack in the middle of low season with daily thunderstorm activity forecasted at up to 80% probability, we instead enjoyed solid days of blistering sun and spectacular paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, sailing and fishing. Cachala was a new find for us and we'll be back to the pristine beach and small laid-back town.

Short hop back into Paradise Village. Fantastic whale sightings -- abundant whales and very active and aerial. Alec also managed to catch a nice sierra!

On the Hook for New Year's
01/01/2013, Punta de Mita

No cruising the last year due to excessive work schedules, but found time to get the boat in order and steal away for a few days to a favorite Banderas Bay anchorage. Had our best ever seafood grill at Margaritas on the beach. Overcast and rainy weather moved in just before Evett had to depart for a meeting in Boston. Any time on the boat is time well spent!
