2 Soft Old Sailers

19 March 2011 | Eden
Phil
We look like being in Eden for a few days yet as the wind is coming from the North East and we don't feel like bashing into that. Geoff and I were reflecting how much the enclosed cockpit has changed our sailing. On previous trips when on passage one of us would be up in the cockpit many times all rugged up in our wet weather gear trying to shelter behind the dodger. This trip we have not taken our wet weather gear out of the locker once. In fact we have become so soft we have a couple of towels we use to stop the draught coming through a couple of places. (how bad is that)
Its raining quite heavily at the moment but we are dry and will find things to do today.
