Positive thinking works

24 January 2012 | Kiama Harbour
Phil/Overcast and light rain
Not long after leaving Port Hacking this morning it started to rain not long after we were away and quite heavy as well. The wind was not in our favour so the motor ran for the 8 hours it took to get to Kiama. There were lots of tankers anchored off Port Kembla but we found a straight coarse through them (see Photo). We past quite close to one tanker and were surprised to se seals sitting on top of their rudders.
Kiama is a very small man made harbour with one berth for visitors on a first come basis so we were pleased to find it empty and here we are. John was convinced it would be available and he was correct. We are moored stern to a wall and you need the dinghy to get ashore but we will be here for a couple of days. After showers John went ashore and as our official minister of information will come back with all the info for tomorrow. Australia Day.
I will post photos of the harbour tomorrow
