Two days ago I wrote this... Today we are sailing (motoring) with big swells, no wind and it's a sunny day. Another day in paradise! At the moment we are not in the channels, we crossed Golfo the Penas last night and we are out sailing in open waters until we get to Bahia Anna Pink. It's a total of 200 miles where we won't be protected in channels. We have been checking the forecast very often. After we got lots of wind in Cape Horn we didn't want to repeat it.

We left Caleta Lamento del Indio after we celebrated Easter with Sunday pancakes and chocolate hunting. We had light winds last night coming as usual from the direction we wanted to go, so engine all night and all day today. I'm not complaining because this is the last unprotected area we will cross until we get to Puerto Montt.

We stopped at night in a protected bay (Seno Pico-Paico 45' 50.0S: 074' 59.5W) and the following day we motored with lights winds until Bahia Anna Pink. We anchored in a nice bay called Puerto Millabu (45' 44.02S: 074' 36.08W). It's a big bay with a sandy bay and two rivers and a waterfall. After we anchored we saw a little otter, very curious, it came to look at us on the dinghy and after went around Kleiner Bar. It's a pretty place to stay some days. It was sunny again so we decided to have our planned barbecue as soon as possible before the next rain. The bay have a large white beach (not sure the last time we saw one, I think it was in Brazil last year). We had a fire at the beach and we cooked sausages and potatoes, Nina made some girdle scones and we spent the evening at the beach.

Today started to rain and it rained all day. In the morning we went for a walk to see the waterfall and tried to go fishing. We saw the waterfall and lots of fish but we didn't catch any! After lunch Werner went fishing again but he had no luck. This bay is a perfect place to spend some days after crossing Golfo de Penas.

Since we left Puerto Natales we have been seeing dolphins in almost all the bays, lots of birds and sometimes otters and seals. The wildlife in this part of the world is amazing. This morning there were two seals playing in the shallow waters close to the beach and some fin whales on the open.
