Very cheap bread, Barahona

Once we filled our bags as heavy as we could carry, we headed for the bakery. A small loaf of bread is only $0.05; be sure you buy the white ones as the yellow ones are quite sweet. There are store bakeries, but you can also buy your bread from the back of a van.
