St. Lucia - Marigot Bay
17 March 2012
We arrived safely in Marigot Bay after our windy chaos. We thought that we would set anchor in the bay. I think we tried six or seven times to set the anchor and she would just not hold so we decided to hook up to a mooring ball. Finally after a hectic day we were settled for the night and could sit down for a cocktail. After awhile we noticed that everything around us was moving! No wait - it was us that was moving!! We realized that the mooring ball that we were on was dragging; luckily there were no boats behind us. We dumped that mooring and moved to another, the second one seemed more secure. Marc put the boat into reverse and gave her some power to make sure that we were secure. No-one wanted to cook that night so we ordered pizza for dinner from one of the boat boys; he brought us a menu and then delivered the pizza to the boat! Now that is service and to top it off the pizza was delicious. Pizza delivery, just like back home!
