I am back on schedule and figured out for today. Our plan was to sail to Trois llets. However when we turned the corner into the Fort de France Bay the wind picked up to 30 knots on our nose. And then to top it off we lost the use of our port engine. We attempted to motor up the coast with one engine, but were not covering much ground, and the winds were fluky. We dropped the main sail hoping this might help, but instead we lost all forward speed and were going backwards. We raised the sail and tacked our way into Anse Mitan. After four hours on water the captain was ready for a nap! Another great day at sea!!
