It was time for us to start heading north, our final destination = St. Kitts. We revised our plan to store the boat in St. Kitts instead of Grenada for the summer. We were sailing along the coast of Martinique when we heard a Mayday call on the radio. A 25 foot fishing boat had capsized with six people aboard. We saw alot of boats in one area, doing what looked like a search pattern, so decided to head off course and go and help their efforts. We found the capsized boat along the way, but could not spot any people in the water. We were too far away from any of the boats to speak directly with them so Marc called on the radio, but no-one answered. The boats started leaving the area, so we followed suit, hoping that they had found the six fisherman. After a short sail we arrived safely in St. Pierre, dropped anchor and enjoyed the solar halo around the sun (sundog).
