As we were making our preparations for our passage to the Chesapeake, we realized friends Jane and Mike on s/v Jamin (also a Bristol but a 45' model) were anchored near us. We were unable to visit with them for more than a few minutes when they stopped by in their dinghy and this is them waving goodbye as we left the Newport Harbor on Sunday afternoon. The seas were pretty churned up with windy conditions when set off which is what we expected. It felt wonderful getting underway.
