Work, Work, Work

This colorful butterfly is enjoying the flowers on my mom's patio in Bethel. There was an interesting snake hanging around as well which I'll also show you. No coyotes, foxes or bears that we know of, at least not yet. One never knows around this area.
Meanwhile, down at the coast, Ed is working very hard on Skylark. He has taken apart the engine almost entirely, leaving only the block and a few other parts. The boatyard crew should begin work on it next week and that means our entire berth has to be emptied in preparation for them. There are three accesses to our engine room; through the galley under the sink, in our aft head and the main engine compartment in our aft berth. All our closets will be cleared, bedding, drawers, sliding compartments...it's like getting a home renovation done. Ed's driving back to Bethel tonight to get me and we'll work together all day tomorrow. I'm sure Luna will be helpful as well. We've rented a storage unit temporarily. I'll send photos of the engine room once I get down there and see for myself. Oh joy!
