Packing Up

My mom brought us down today with all our remaining possessions from Bethel. Our car is parked in her garage, her attic holds a few of our hard-to-part-with things, Luna said her goodbye's to her grandma, we had a sweet parting with her as well and we're working hard to get ready to throw off our lines. Yankee Marina has been terrific throughout the summer; we highly recommend them for anything a boater needs year-round. We felt extremely taken care of all summer, especially Ed and that counts for a lot when the conditions are stressful and the piggy bank is getting lighter. All the workers know Luna, naturally, and she gets more attention than either one of us combined. The weather today is chilly but mild, the tide is slowly rolling in, our radar is working and everything seems in order. I think we'll be ready in just a little while, although we are always reluctant to say anything definitively.
