Mom joined us for lunch on Skylark before making her way back to the mountains of Bethel. It wasn't easy saying goodbye; it never is. She was the most gracious host to us this summer and shared her home with a consistent generosity of spirit. She and I enjoyed the time together and looked forward to our weekends with Ed. And now? Back to the world of cruising and all that entails.
