Happy Birthday Margaret and tomorrow, Frank.
I once had a cat named Sophie and she was the only pet I ever had who didn't steal my heart. She just wasn't all that lovable. I took good care of her and loved her the best I could for 14 or 15 years but it wasn't always easy. Poor Sophie. But this beautiful Swan also named Sophie belongs to our friends George and Christine. She's a gorgeous boat and we're pleased to see her in the water after a long period on the hard at New England Boatworks. We've enjoyed getting to know George and Christine and hope our paths will cross again. One never knows in this crazy life we lead as cruisers. Last year while they were at New England Boatworks and we were too I scored a pair of black straight leg jeans that I found in the take-it-or leave-it area of the marina laundry room. I bragged about my good fortune with Christine and she said, "Oh those were George's!". They fit me well except they're about half a foot too long. George is thin but tall.
