I realize this is a sail blog. I understand there may be "rules" which state somewhere that sail blogs should be all about sailboats and sailing. But how much can one person write about sailboats and sailing? Aren't there a few other issues of interest here? Like Christmas cookies? I mean look at these little things. Are they not cool? But just to be a good sport, next year I'll ask my Aunt to find a cookie cutter of a sailboat and that way I won't get a reputation as "That woman who writes sail blogs about topics unrelated to sailboats and sailing." Someone is probably saying right now, "Why am I reading about Christmas cookies?" Maybe because we live on a sailboat, trying to sail somewhere at Christmas time without family to spend the holidays with and maybe because these cookies remind us that traditions are important and sweet in spite of living like crazy gypsies.
