Here's Hoping

We have discussed the absurdity of making plans while living and traveling on a boat. We have described having to come up with Plans A, B, C, D and E. But I just want to say that if our plan to leave tomorrow does not pan out, I just might have to break down and cry. We have been here far too long. If all goes well, we'll be on our way early in the morning and will have our Spot tracker on for anyone interested in following our journey. Just go to our Favorites section and click on Spot. The passage to the Bahamas shouldn't take longer than between 26-35 hours depending on where we end up. As of tonight, our destination has yet to be determined but we're weighing out various options. Today we got a pump-out for our head (the boat comes to our boat, pumps out our system and collects $20 from us, which takes only a few minutes total), Ed secured the deck and generally got the boat ready for passage, I baked banana bran muffins, cooked white chili and biscuits for tomorrow and the following night, helped Luna with her blog post and then we picked up our mail, cashed a rebate check, did two loads of laundry and had a beer before heading back to Skylark. Hopefully our next post will be from the Bahamas.
