I hear from my humans we are leaving today. Why is that? Why in the world do we keep doing this leaving business? We get to a place I happen to like, with people I happen to be quite fond of, I get to swim, sniff deer (although far less exciting than goats, they will do in a pinch) and steal food from friends who think their lunch is safe from my lightening-quick food-stealing talents and then, just when I think life can't get much better, here we go again. I planned on asking Maddie and Skip whether I can come to St. Croix with them because I overheard them saying they were staying in a hotel with a real bed and a they're going to drive a real car, but I can't figure out how to work the VHF radio with my paws and my humans kept interrupting the conversation this morning whenever I opened my mouth. It is not easy being me.

Speaking of mouths, Skip asked me if I ate a black magic marker. Everyone laughed but I don't get the joke. Why would I do that? Do they taste good? Should I try it? Does it have to be black? Do you think they were laughing AT me or WITH me?
