Skylark at Anchor
05 May 2015 | St. Maarten, Simpson Bay Lagoon

Skylark is the boat with the tan awning pretty much in the middle of the photo. We've had fierce winds for the past couple of days, clocking at 30-35 knots last night. I got up in the night to check thing out on deck and our throw pillow had been blown off of the cockpit cushions. I don't remember that ever happening. The wind must have been shooting through the aft portion of the cockpit which is where the pillows were. The waves were wild; it felt like a mini hurricane. Needless to say neither Ed nor I slept very well. Luna snored her way through the night.
