We walk Luna along the wall each morning and she's quite happy doing that, especially because there are several places she can go down to the water for a little swim. Yesterday was the first day we let her swim on our walk, going down the steps at least 3 times at various places. When I walked her this morning, she insisted on stopping at all three of the same places coming and going. Swim, swim, shake, shake and off we go to continue walking. Talk about a happy dog! We've stopped to talk to a few young Dutch children who love Luna. One of them has a dog here in Bonaire called Luna. The other one has a rabbit back home in Holland named Luna. It appears to be a popular name. The Dutch people, whether they live in Bonaire or are visiting are very warm and friendly, other than the couple we "met" in the customs office. And maybe they weren't Dutch at all but they seemed to understand the language of the officials.
