There is this burger joint down a street that is under construction. There is no sign identifying it as the Beer and Burgers joint but we did see a sign that said "Best Burgers on Bonaire" and figured we had the right place. It is by far the best burger joint around, owned by a man from Holland who was a champion drag racer there as well as a member of a motorcycle club similar to the Hell's Angels or Outlaws. He assured us that he wasn't a bad guy, just in case we were worried, which we weren't. He sat at our table for awhile when we went there two nights ago with our British friends on s/v Spent and s/v Babe! As he was chatting it up with us, his partner who does none of the cooking came out and asked what he was doing and why he wasn't in the kitchen cooking. The owner said, "Because I'm out here having a beer with these people!" and that was that. He did leave a few minutes later and served us all juicy burgers at a reasonable price.
