Klein Bonaire is only accessible by dinghy when it's not blowing too hard, otherwise you get tossed around too much for comfort. It's doable, just not enjoyable, very wet and for a small dingy like ours, just not all that attractive an option. So to have been able to get over there twice, once for a dive on Sampler and another time to picnic has been a treat. This photo was taken the first time we went and you can see our dive vests sticking out of the dinghy. Some sailors bring their big boats over for the day but we haven't seen too many people come in their dinghies. Klein Bonaire is a nature preserve; very popular with tourists, divers, snorkelers and nature lovers.
