Lovely Hawksbill Turtle

One dive post today from yesterday's dive, more tomorrow or later in the day. It's incredibly hot here now and the wind died yesterday and is not much better today, making things uncomfortable for all three of us. Luna's walk has to be now or it becomes too intense. It's already almost too late at 0900.
Just when I thought we wouldn't run across a turtle while diving or snorkeling here on Bonaire, this beauty swam past us, as if to say, "Follow me!" Which we did. Ed got this spectacular photo and a video. I followed it around for awhile before saying "Adios". We were in shallow water at the time, about to end the dive at Klein Bonaire on Captain Don's Reef, and quite possibly have it be our last one before leaving for Curacao. It was thrilling and I think Ed did a great job with the camera.
