Dinner and Tangled Fishing Line

It took 5 hours getting from French Hrbr to Guanaja and as we were sailing along, minding our own business in choppy seas, Ed looked around behind us and noticed this Mahi being pulled on the hand line we had out. It was already nearly dead by the time we brought it onboard, along with the other two fishing lines which had become tangled up in the hand line. We had to throw out all the line but the Mahi was delicious and provided us with two dinners. I made steamed broccoli (in butter, olive oil, garlic and white wine) along with seasoned rice (coconut oil, soy sauce, chicken broth and cardamon seeds) to go with it and since it was pouring rain with 30 knot gusts, we opted not to grill the fish outside but used the stove instead. Then we watched the 1947 movie called "Gentlemen's Agreement" with Gregory Peck which was excellent.
