Tips for Cruisers: Laundry Clips Bag

08 February 2016 | Honduras, Guanaja, El Bight
Elizabeth
I am wracking my brain trying to think of meaty, more technical, tool and engine related tips for cruisers. Things like anchors accessories, navigational aids, electronic gadgets, oil filters or anything with complexity. I am simply coming up with nothing but ideas that make living easier on a boat. It seems so lame! But I do love this little clothespin bag made by ClarUSA that I ordered from Amazon.com (is there anywhere else to shop?) last summer. It's actually our 2nd one, the first one fading and tearing after a year. I just dug out this one from storage which is why it looks so fresh and vibrant. A velcro strip keeps the bag closed and it fits nicely on life lines or elsewhere. We replaced the rings for hanging with stainless steel split rings to prevent rusting. This particular model comes in several different designs, including a camouflage pattern which we will most definitely NOT hang on Skylark. It's advertised as being waterproof which it seems to be. There are many other clothespin bags to choose from but we love this one and the colorful designs add a little spice to all our tan covers.
