We think this is a Little Blue Heron but if some of you bird watching aficionados have a different idea, please set us straight. Don't you love the little feathers on its head? We spotted him alongside the riverwalk which extends from the marina to the down town area. Everything about Stuart is lovely and we continue to enjoy our time here. It's been a good place to wait out some late season cold fronts (unusual for May) before continuing up the east coast toward Maine. We're hoping to meet our son Ryan somewhere who will accompany us on one of our passages, and if we get lucky we'll catch up with our daughter Amanda as well. It's been way too long since seeing them.
