Day 8 (11/1/10
02 November 2010 | Bahia Santa Maria
Becky/Sunny
First thing in the morning during roll call, it is asked if anyone has any problems with their boat. A boat called in with a Spectra water maker problem. Denny was off the boat, so Pat chimed in to offer Denny's services, as he is a Spectra technician. All of a sudden, Pat had two other boats needing water maker assistance. When Denny got back from his dinghy ride, Pat had lined up three boats for him to visit. As it turns out, Denny did help out all of the boats.
A single-handed 32' Downeast sailboat (not a Ha Ha boat) was on the ocean side of the bay and fell asleep Sunday night, he ended up beaching his boat. Richard asked the Baja Ha Ha fleet to help the guy out by taking all the valuables off the boat, as they couldn't get the boat back in the water. There were about 60 people who pitched in and helped the guy out.
We had a wonderful yummy dinner of beef tenderloin, rice, veggies, brownies and of course a couple bottles of delicious wine!
