Today we took a trip through the mangroves. At the end of the mangrove stream was a Mexican fishing camp. Plywood houses that looked old and in disrepair. While it looked rustic to us, the families that live there seem to be in good spirits. Non of the buildings were painted or cared for except one. The church. It seems that no mater how big or small the community the churches are beautiful. Here beauty was that the church had paint. Check photos in a few days to see what I mean.
Once again it was fun to be part of a big group. The Ha Ha might not be for everyone but for those that want to make friends and share experiences with others there is nothing else that compares. Like-minded people sharing their dream to go sailing. Some for a month some for a winter and some for a lifetime. But all with the same desire to go past the comfort of their local bay. Hurray.
SV Intuition came over for dinner tonight. It was fun to relax, eat and enjoy each others company. We told stories and laughed a lot - good times!
