Just thought I would give you my day in a nut shell, it was moving day today so I got up at 6 am, it was cold (72 ) I put on shorts and a sweet shirt. We lifted the anchor and started to leave the anchorage. At 6:30 the sun came up and at 6:45 I took off my sweet shirt and put on a tee shirt. We motored for a few hours then set sail. At 3 pm we pulled into Playa Bonanza and dropped anchor in 20 feet of clear water. I watched the anchor hit the bottom and set as we backed down on it. We went to the boat next to us (Sarah Jean 2) and had a sundowner. (drink) . Then came back to our boat and watched the stars. Reminded us of Bruce and Sue. Pop corn and a movie and I went to bed.
Tomorrow is explore day. I get to sleep in. I'm sure I'll miss the sunrise. That means no sweat shirt tomorrow.
After ten years of planning a trip around the world, we have given up our life on land to head to bluer pastures with the hopes of staying young as long as possible. Our mission is to have fun while moving about the earth. [...]When we finally return to dry land for good, we hope to have seen most of the worlds shore line and experienced things that can only be experienced at 5 knots Of course if we find a place we like and stay there for an extended time, that's ok too.
We have two boys and two grandson's and several friends and family of all ages. Our hope is that those we know will decide to spend some time with us. Life is enjoyed most when you share it with those your closest to.
