Bloody Mary Marathon
22 December 2010 | Santa Rosalia
Denny/Partly Cloudy 70 degrees
Tuesday was a big day. Our friends Jim and Connie arrived in Santa Rosalia. It had been also most a month since they left to go see their grandson. We were going to meet them someplace between here (Santa Rosalia) and La Paz for Christmas. With me having surgery, we are stuck here and it took a great weather window and effort for them to come all this way so quickly. We want them to know it meant a lot to us they chose to be here.
I had my surgery last Thursday the 16th, I get my bandage off and stitches out this Thursday the 23rd. That's when I'll see if the work they did was really as good as I think it was. If I have Frankenstein like scaring on my stomach that's when we'll know. Stay tone for photos of that event.
Yesterday the marina had a Christmas gathering (photo above) at 10 am. Bloody Mary's on the house. Becky and I showed up around 11 am and had a good hour with our neighbors. If was good to see everyone together and it assured us Christmas on the dock wont be lonely.
