Weather Break

Denny/75 degrees
I haven't wanted to complain, because I know most of you are in wet and cold weather, but for the past two weeks, Mexico has been in a cold pattern. The weather guy claims it's the coldest in five years he has been recording temperatures. We wake up to 45 to 55 degrees and in the afternoon the sun has heated up to around 70 degrees. With a wind chill, we sometimes need to wear a sweatshirt or long sleeve. Well today, things are as they should be in Mexico. I woke up to a 68 degree cabin temperature and the weather guy tells me to expect the high today to be in the mid 80's. I just wanted to share that it's not always perfect in paradise.
We are anchored in Matanchen Bay. There is about two miles of sandy beach with restaurants side by side as far as you can walk. The place is vacant, but for a few surfers. The wave break is about 1 to 2 feet. After our walk on the beach, we stopped at a restaurant and had a beer. We asked the waiter if the beach is ever full of people. "April", he said. The surf is 3 to 6 feet in April and the beach is full. It's nice to have the beach to ourselves, but if would be fun to see the big waves full of hot hard body surfers for Becky to look at!
