Spending out of control

Denny/Perfect weather!
We have been having so much fun, if you can call school fun, but with fun there is expense. We spent a record $2,695 in the month of May. Here's how it breaks out. First we have the Spanish classes which include room and board. $1,010 for 3 weeks. We still have a week to pay for but that's June. Then we have travel, we had two nights in hotels and several cab and bus rides to get to Xela. Some of these expenses were round trip so the way back might not be so bad $476. Then we put the boat on a mooring ball for security $200. The most frustrating of all was the lost camera $480. Money to replace the camera and video so we can keep the blog up and record our trip. If I was more careful we would not have needed a new camera. After those expenses the rest falls in line with past months. Booze $119, food $175, laundry, $25 and misc internet, shopping and tours of Xela. $210.
Wait until next month (I keep on saying). The goal was to keep things under $1,500 when we started. Since then we have seen that $1,000 to $1,200 should be manageable. We just have to stop having so much fun.
