Denny/Hot
Today we went shopping in a small town called Zacatecoluca about 45 miles from the boat. We took the chicken bus, an old US school bus, the ride cost $1 each way and lasted 2 hours. The bus would stop to pick people up and drop them off without any regard to how many people were already on the bus. We were sardines in a can. But at $1 for 2 hours what do you expect. Becky only wants to go back one more time before we leave El Salvador. That should happen the first week of July. Every day brings a new adventure as the people of El Salvador live so much different than we do in the States. Below is a photo of ketchup and mustard we bought in bulk. It’s amazing how little things cost without the packaging.
