Snorkeling
09 August 2011 | Panama - Islas Secas
Denny/ 92 air, 86 degrees clear water
We are now on anchored off the Seca Island, or Paul's Island as we have named it. S/V Jeorgia from Edmonds Washington. is just a few weeks ahead of us and when they stopped here they called it the best snorkeling place so far. Since then, now when we do are planning we always include Paul's Island as one of our stops. When we went snorkeling we found lots of coral and fish to look at. We have no reason to dispute the finding of S/V Jeorgia as they leave an accurate account of their findings. We hope to catch up to them soon so we can share notes over a beer or two. Yesterday we were surprised with the sighting of whales. We figured they would all be in Alaska or the arctic by now. It's amazing how much marine life we see and how few fish we catch. They say the fishing in Panama is better them Costa Rica so I have to think we are getting closer to landing the big one.
Life is good on Kokomo!
